Foam Fire Suppression System

Sales / Installation / Maintenance

The foam fire suppression systems utilize the properties of a water+emulsifier mixture to which air is added through a generator. The resulting foam is then deployed on the fire, suppressing it by depriving it of oxygen, cooling it with water, and retaining toxic vapors.

This is the only agent capable of cleanly and safely extinguishing Class B liquid fires without any risk of re-ignition. The foam, by floating, acts as a barrier between the air and the fire. This fire suppression design allows to:
  1. Prevent air from feeding the fire.
  2. Contain any vapor from the liquid that may ignite or cause re-ignition. Foam can also be applied preventively to surfaces to avoid the risk of ignition.
  3. Act as a cooling agent due to the water it contains. This is especially effective against Class A fires.
